1. Who we are

ShelfRank is a service of ShelfRank Services LLC, a Georgia limited liability company based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. In this Policy, "ShelfRank," "we," "us," and "our" refer to ShelfRank Services LLC. Contact us at [email protected] with any privacy questions.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order or submit our intake form, we collect:

  • Name and email address
  • Business or store name and marketplace URLs you ask us to work on
  • Product information, ingredient lists, and any compliance documentation you choose to share
  • Payment information (collected and stored by our payment processors — see Section 4)
  • Any other information you provide by email or through forms

Information we collect automatically. When you visit our website, we may collect basic technical data such as your IP address, device type, browser type, referring page, pages visited, and approximate location (country/region). This is used for security and to understand how our site is used.

Cookies. Our website uses a small number of essential cookies and local-storage entries to remember your preferred language. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Deliver the services you ordered and communicate about your order
  • Send order confirmations, intake forms, deliverables, and defect-correction notices
  • Process payments and detect fraud
  • Improve our services and website
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
  • With your consent, send occasional service updates or new-offer announcements (you can opt out at any time)

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of trusted third parties to operate the business. Each handles a specific function and is bound by its own privacy policy:

  • Payment processors — to process card and online payments
  • Freelance marketplace — alternative order channel
  • Email and document storage provider — for communications and file storage
  • Domain registrar — domain registration and DNS
  • Business banking provider — banking services
  • Cloud hosting provider — website hosting and content delivery

We share with these providers only the information they need to perform their function. Payment card numbers are submitted directly to our payment processors — we never see or store full card numbers ourselves.

5. How we protect information

We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards, including TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit, password-protected accounts, two-factor authentication on administrative accounts, and access controls limiting who can view client data. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

6. How long we keep information

We keep order records, intake responses, and deliverables for as long as needed to provide the services and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations (generally up to seven years). Marketing-list subscribers can unsubscribe at any time, after which we remove their email from active mailing lists within 30 days.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your information, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations
  • Object to or restrict certain uses
  • Receive a portable copy of your information
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time and verify your identity before acting on the request.

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and similar US states: you may also opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not engage in such activity.

Residents of Canada and Mexico: you have rights under PIPEDA (Canada) and the LFPDPPP (Mexico). You may contact us using the same email above.

8. International transfers

Our service providers may store and process information on servers located in the United States. By using our services from outside the United States, you consent to that transfer.

9. Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when the current version took effect. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
